Nokia lets you monitor the emissions coming in to your car
Filed under: Emerging Technologies, Etc.
Have you ever been sitting in your car stuck in a traffic jam with the smell of all the fumes wafting into your car? Nokia has now built a concept mobile phone with a built-in air analyzer. The Eco Sensor concept can detect carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, ground level ozone and particulates. It could be particularly useful to people with respiratory diseases like asthma that are aggravated by ozone. There’s no word yet on when or if this technology will get added to production phones from Nokia or how much it will cost.
