Insight wins hybrid car race (Norwich Bulletin)
NORWICH — A 2000 Honda Insight was the winner of the first ever hybrid car race, sponsored by the Norwich Area Global Warming Action Group. The Insight posted a whopping 74.9 miles per gallon to edge out four other cars on the 25-mile race from West Town Street to Pine Point School in Stonington.
