Tesla Marketing VP Darryl Siry has penned an article for VentureBeat on the topic of investing in alternative fuel car manufacturers. Investing in this field is no simple matter. As anyone watching Tesla over the past year can see, it’s tough to launch a car company even if you’ve got a decent amount of funding behind you. Small investors will have a tough time finding a place to put some money since many of the independent companies in the field aren’t public.
